Solskjaer reveals when Ighalo will play for Man United

Manchester United manager Ols Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed when retired Super Eagles striker, Odion Jude Ighalo will make his debut for the Red Devils, after initial reports that he may not play soon.

Odion Ighalo joined Manchester United on loan from his Chinese club Shanghai Greenland Shenhua on loan on the final day of the January transfer, and his move has caused a division amidst the fans of the Red Devils, but the manager has now revealed when the Nigerian will make his debut.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now prepared to hand Odion Ighalo his Manchester United debut in a big Premier League clash with Chelsea, saying the Nigerian is desperate to play for the Red Devils.

Solskjaer told the club website that: “Yeah, he is going to travel with u. We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp. We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us.”

Many Nigerians will love to see Odion Jude Ighalo in action for Manchester United, as football lovers of the country have not seen the number 9 play since the third-place match at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
